私ども「特定非営利活動法人 科学技術情報フォーラム」が活動を開始したのは2004年。
これまでエネルギー問題と環境問題の２つの論点を中心に掲げ、最新情報収集と関連の研究、その成果の普及に活動の軸をおいて参りましたが、2017年、これまでの活動を総括するとともに、私どもの役割をより広い視野で見直すこととなりました。フレッシュなメンバーを中心とした新たな運営体制の下、持続可能性の高い社会の実現に寄与すべ く、安全や人材育成に関する問題にも積極的に取り組む姿勢を定款の改定を通じて宣言 をさせていただいています。
当フォーラムは国内活動にとどまらず、国際協力にも重点を置きます。国外の関係組織・機関との連携協力を積極的にはかり、国際的な視野で今後の環境と安全の分野を担うであろう潜在的な人材の発掘、育成にも尽力をして参る所存です。

Science and Technology Information Forum (STIF) , a non-profit organization, started our activities in 2004.
In 2017, we decided to review our activities and scope for a broader perspective. Under a new management structure led by fresh members, we have revised our Articles of Forum to declare our commitment to contribute to a highly sustainable society and to actively address issues related to environment, safety and human resource development.
The scope of our forum is not limited to domestic activities, but also focuses on international cooperation. The Forum will actively cooperate with relevant international organizations and institutions, and will make every effort to identify and develop potential leaders in the field of environment and safety from an international perspective.
We would be grateful if you could join and support in our activities and initiatives.
