私たち科学技術情報フォーラムは、国民・市民の豊かな生活の維持と発展に必要不可欠な、環境、安全等に関する科学技術情報を調査・研究し、同分野で活躍する人材を育成することにより、社会の環境・安全等に関する理解促進を図ることを主たる目的とします。

この目的を達成するため、
①環境、安全等に関する調査・研究の実施
②環境、安全等に関する人材育成
③環境、安全等に関する国内及び国際シンポジウム、講演会、セミナー等の開催
④環境、安全等に関する提言
⑤その他目的を達成するために必要な事業
といった特定非営利活動に係る事業を行っています。

The main purpose of NPO Science and Technology Information Forum (STIF) is to promote understanding of the environment and safety in our society by researching and studying scientific and technological information on the environment and safety, and by developing human resources who are active in these fields. This is essential for the sustainability and development of an affluent life for the people and citizens of Japan and overseas.

In order to achieve our objectives, we:

(1) survey and research the environment and safety,

(2) foster the development of human resources for  environment and safety,

(3) organize domestic and international symposia, lectures and seminars on the environment and safety,

(4) make recommendations on the environment and safety, and

(5) perform any other activities necessary to achieve our objectives.
